Dr. Najeff Waseem joined Maryland Oncology Hematology in August 2022. Dr. Waseem received his medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he was named a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed an internal medicine residency at Stanford, and a post-doctoral fellowship in hematology and oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is board certified in medical oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has published in both JAMA Oncology and Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Waseem is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.Outside of medicine, Dr. Waseem enjoys creative writing, reading, sports, cooking, strategy games, and travel. He is a Ravens fan and season ticket holder!
