  • Only 1 caregiver can accompany a patient in the practice if they have no upper respiratory symptoms - upper respiratory symptoms include: a cough, fever of 101.1 and above, nasal congestion, runny nose or sore throat
  • Children age 15 or younger are not allowed in the clinic until further notice

The health and safety of our MOH patients and staff is our top priority. We recognize that these visitor limitations may cause concerns, so if you feel you have a special circumstance, please notify the front desk so a manager can discuss your situation.Visitors with flu-like symptoms are not permitted to visit our offices in order to protect patients and staff.

About Us

Our Mission

Dedicated to providing the most advanced cancer care available anywhere in an atmosphere of caring compassion.

History

Maryland Oncology Hematology was founded in 1986 by Dr. Jon Minford and was the first to provide medical oncology and hematology care to residents in the growing Howard county area of Maryland.  MOH grew to a very well established practice with five full time oncologists until 2011 when they expanded to include the addition of six additional physicians located in the Washington, DC suburbs of Silver Spring, Greenbelt, and Laurel, Maryland. In 2012, Maryland Oncology Hematology extended its reach with the addition of two additional physicians in Wheaton, Maryland and eight in Clinton and Lanham, Maryland.

Today, Maryland Oncology Hematology is the largest independent Medical Oncology and Hematology group in Maryland with 30  physicians practicing in 9 locations across central Maryland.

Maryland Oncology Hematology is united in healing with The US Oncology Network, one of the nation’s largest community-based cancer treatment and research networks focused on advancing cancer care in America. As an affiliate of The US Oncology Network, Maryland Oncology Hematology is united with approximately 1,000 physicians and 10,000 cancer professionals nationwide. Maryland Oncology Hematology participates in clinical trials through US Oncology Research, which has helped to develop FDA approved cancer therapies.
