Shruti Murali, MD

Shruti Murali, MD is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with extensive experience caring for patients across the continuum of cancer and blood disorders. Originally from New Jersey, she earned her medical degree in India, completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, and went on to complete a Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Dr. Murali’s clinical interests include breast cancer, thoracic malignancies, gastrointestinal and genitourinary cancers, as well as benign and malignant hematologic conditions.

Known for her compassionate and collaborative approach, Dr. Murali believes in open communication and shared decision-making. She works closely with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique medical needs, goals, and values.

Outside of work, Dr. Murali enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, daughter, family, and friends.
