As an innovative thought leader, Dr. Wallmark has an unwavering commitment to provide excellent and compassionate care to hisnpatients. He is passionate about developing a renowned research program, offering state-of- the art, novel therapies close to home. Under his research leadership, he and his colleagues have developed one of the leading community research programs in the country. Patients now have access to early drug development/phase I trials outside of an academic center. He is a published author on numerous research topics. His special interests include breast cancer, lymphomas, myeloma and leukemia.
He is active in the following professional societies: American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, Montgomery County Medical Society, Medical & Surgical Faculty of the State of Maryland and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Wallmark also served at the Suburban Breast Center Risk Assessment Program as physician advisor and counselor.
