Tomeeka is an Adult Gerontology nurse practitioner with over 17 years of experience in oncology. Tomeeka received a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University before earning a Master of Science in nursing at the University of Phoenix and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner – Primary care at Duke University.

In 2022, she was named the Medstar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Nurse of the Year. Tomeeka is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
