Syed Kashif Mahmood, MD

Syed Kashif Mahmood, MD, is board certified in pulmonology and internal medicine. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral pulmonary nodules, mediastinal/hilar lymphadenopathy, pleural effusion and lung cancer with expertise in robotic assisted navigational bronchoscopy, cone-beam CT (CBCT) imaging, endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and cryobiopsy. He serves as a key opinion leader (KOL) and clinical proctor for Intuitive’s Ion robotic bronchoscope.

Dr. Mahmood completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Charleston Area Medical Center, where he served as Chief Fellow, following his Internal Medicine residency at CAMC/WVU, where he was selected as Chief Resident. He earned his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Florida.
