Physicians

Eric Oristian, MD, is a board-certified surgeon at Maryland Oncology Hematology. Dr. Oristian received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Duke University before attending medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in general surgery at George Washington University Medical Center, where he was also awarded the Upton Achievement Award for Outstanding Resident. He is a member of the Medical and Chirurgical Society of Maryland, the Montgomery County Medical Society, and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

Dr. Oristian has been practicing surgery since 1984, in both private practice and hospital settings. He has served as the chairman of the department of surgery and the director of breast services at Holy Cross Hospital. He is also an associate clinical professor of surgery at George Washington University Medical Center.
