Biography

Dr. Adam Goldrich attended Binghamton University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. He then attended Tel Aviv University – Sackler School of Medicine, a global leader in cancer and molecular biomedical research. As a medical student, he worked at a specialized clinic that provided medical care for undocumented immigrants administered by the internationally renowned Physicians for Human Rights. Upon graduating from medical school, he completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Following his residency, he was elected by his peers to be the Chief Resident at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Goldrich trained in medical oncology and hematology at Temple University Hospital’s Fox Chase Cancer Center.

While at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Dr. Goldrich was actively involved in clinical trials, many of which focused on immunotherapeutic treatments in cancer care. In 2018, he moved to Maryland to practice medical oncology and hematology in the Annapolis community. He joined Maryland Oncology Hematology in October 2020. Dr. Goldrich has continued his research in the use of immunotherapies and has given specific attention to comprehensive genomic tumor profiling and targeted therapies for the treatment of cancer.

His clinical focus is on gastrointestinal cancers such as esophageal, stomach, pancreatic, liver, and colorectal cancers. He also has a focus on lung cancer, head and neck cancer, leukemia, and lymphoma. Dr. Goldrich believes strongly in the autonomy of his patients. He understands the need for, and truly enjoys, developing close relationships with his patients and their families. He prides himself on being available to his patients for both clinical and non-clinical issues. He resides in Maryland with his wife and 3 young children. He enjoys spending time with his family and reading to his son and daughters. In addition, he enjoys traveling, trail running, and basketball.

Dr. Goldrich is very proud to have won his NCAA tournament bracket in 2021 and 2023.
