Tomeeka Hawthorne, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, OCN, is an adult gerontology nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in oncology. Tomeeka received a Bachelor of Science in nursing at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University before earning a Master of Science in nursing at the University of Phoenix and a Post-Graduate Certificate in adult gerontology nurse practitioner – primary care at Duke University.
In 2022, she was named the Medstar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Nurse of the Year. Tomeeka is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, and the Oncology Nursing Society. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
