Amanda Rowland, MSN, APRN, AGNP-C, OCN, is a nurse practitioner who provides advanced practice care to patients at Maryland Oncology Hematology. She has 19 years of experience working in hematology and oncology as a registered nurse, serving patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Amanda works in collaboration with physicians and members of the healthcare team to improve the patient’s quality of life. She works with the patient and the rest of their team to provide individualized, evidence-based care.
Amanda received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Montgomery College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Capella University before receiving her Master of Science in nursing degree from Wilkes University. She is certified in basic life support and credentialed by the Oncology Nursing Credentialing Corp. Amanda is certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
