Colette Magnant, MD, FACS is a highly skilled breast surgical oncologist at Maryland Oncology Hematology. She is board certified in general surgery, specializing in advanced surgical techniques, including skin and nipple-sparing mastectomies and minimally invasive breast conserving surgeries.
After earning her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Dr. Magnant completed her general surgery internship at Indiana University Medical Center and her residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is the director at the Sullivan Center for Breast Health, as well as an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University. In addition to teaching, Dr. Magnant has made numerous media appearances and delivered dozens of university lectures.
Dr. Magnant believes in evidence-based, state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary breast cancer treatment. She has been treating breast cancer for over 34 years, and this wealth of experience allows her to treat many specialized disorders related to breast health, providing her patients with compassionate and thorough medical care
